Imagine....

...an unbiased media who were actually interested in reporting the news instead of promoting their political agenda?

Imagine there's no bias,
How could we help but win?
No ‘flexible urban viewpoint’,
No Peter Jennings spin
Imagine all the media
Cov’ring ALL the news...

Imagine no agenda,
I know it’s hard to do,
No one to shill or lie for,
No need to fear FoxNews,
Imagine all the people
Exposed to all the news...

You may say I’m a dreamer,
but I’m not the only one,
I hope some day they'll wise up,
And the facts will not be spun.

Imagine no agendas,
I wonder if you can?
No need for forged memos,
Or 60 Minutes’ Gunga Dan,
Imagine all the people
Getting the straight scoop...

You may say I'm "just a blogger",
But when all is said and done,
I may be posting in my jammies,
But at least I'm having fun.

As always, thanks to JW for the Blackfive link.

Wheelgun has an interesting graph and post to show regarding gun ownership and crime. The answer, of course, is not sympathetic to banner's needs, so they will no doubt fund some more studies until one does support their theme -... [Read More]

Dear Yoko,
To maintain the integrity of it being a tribute, it was also very important to Cass....ALL of us... that you weren't..uhm..burdened with having to *sing* it, hence--a good time was had by all.

I hate that pinko commie song.

Nicely done, Cassandra. I always hated 'Imagine'
and well, you gone and done IMPROVED it.

Now I have something to sing to my children at night. I will start off with the "I have a Dream" speech and segue into this song.

*sniff*
