I think I had better take you up on your offer!

Well, if you decide you're serious, let me know :)
I love web design. If you don't like it you can always just say no (like Nancy Reagan) and I won't get my feelings hurt in the least! That's the nice thing - it's just a template: like changing your clothes, you can try it on and if you don't like it, you're not stuck with it!
I really need to re-do this place but I will probably wait until early summer. I finally found the original of my pin-up in the header graphic (I had never intended her to be a permanent fixture - I just stuck her up for July 4th and everyone liked her so much I didn't have the heart to take her down). So maybe I'll give that a shot too: I have never been very happy with the way the site looked.

Please don't take down the pin-up.
One of my best friends in college was a Marine Sgt stationed in the Phillipines during the late '60s. Showing my age. I've truly enjoyed your blog.
Some blogs don't look right on my computer. It's tuned for Windows media 1280x800. Your blog correctly displays on my computer. Some blogs have columns overlaying on each other. i wish I knew how I could have them display correctly.
Love your blog. Even though I'm not a Marine (two heart surgeries as a child), Semper Fi.

You know, I am mildly uncomfortable about having a pinup on the masthead of my site (I put her up there as a joke) but I have gotten more mail about her...
My husband picked her out (also as kind of a joke) because she reminded him of me, I think because she has kind of a puckish air about her. So I thought it would be amusing to put her up there. What can I say - I have a twisted sense of humor. Of course I'm not nearly that pretty - not by a long shot!
But I won't take her down. The oink cadre seem to be very fond of her... *sigh*. And she does have a lot of.... ummm.... personality.
I think most of it is spilling out of the bodice of her dress.

The link didn't work for me, but I got a clue from the comments.
She moonlights as And Rightly So's other skin.
