Daily DimWit: The Right To A Man-Purse
Sometimes we are astounded by the idiocy of the citizenry at large:
This year's Family Sunday promotion, to be held this weekend, will not specifically cater to women 18 and older. The first 25,000 fans — male or female — 18 or older will be given a red "Mother's Day Ladies Tote Bag."
Because men can be real mothers too.
Mead declined to say whether the change to this year's promotion was made in response to Cohn's complaint."It was done after a lot of internal discussions," he said.
But the change still did not satisfy some critics:
Rava said the giveaway still violated some fans' civil rights because those under 18 will be denied a bag based on their age."By looking at the bag, you can see a 17-year-old male or female would be just as happy with it as an 18-year-old male or female," Rava said. "I don't know why the Angels and Bryman College had a seemingly contrived cutoff for this ageless bag."

The psycologist's attorney, Alfred Rava, has also championed the demise of "Ladie's Night," all pro bono of course. *cough*

Maybe (prob'ly) I'm just old-fashioned, but the reason I wear these camo pants (from which my nickname/bloghandle is derived) is because of all the stuff I can carry in the capacious cargo pockets...

There may be something to this man-purse thing what with everyone trying to legislate CCW out of existance.
I remember an episode of Malcom In The Middle where everyone was giving Dewey grief for carrying a purse.
He carried it everywhere. To school, at play, walking down the street.
His brothers asked if he was concerned about bullies making fun of him and he said "no".Then one day the bullies started picking on him and Dewey just cut loose and started wailing away with his purse, which just happened to have a brick bat inside.
I don't know what the moral of the story is, just don't make fun of Dewey wearing a purse.

He probably also resents not having PMS on a regular basis either!
