Kissinger Says Obama Misquoted Him

That's gotta hurt:

Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality."

Hmmm... I'm sure the media truth squad will be all over this one.

But of course, you know that the Obamanation knows better what Kissinger said than Kissinger, right?

Wait for the rumor mill to crank up that Henry the K has now exhibited the first signs of Alzheimer's...

Scattershot is the aggressive and argumentative leader of the Technobots. He transforms into a spaceship, as well as a cannon emplacement. More specifically, his spacecraft mode could be best described as a gunship, given the large number of armaments seen on him compared to other past and current Autobots (including TF: Cybertron's Wing Saber). When combined with the other Technobots, he forms the torso of Computron.

A brawling, bragging berserker... he wades into a Decepticon patrol with all barrels blazing, doesn't stop until he's out of ammo. Calls those who disapprove of his methods 'tinplated bucketheads.' Rude, gruff, and direct. In vehicle and battle station modes, has electron pulse cannon in nosecone; array of sonic, thermal and artillery shell guns. In robot mode, has 500 rounds-per-minute automatic acid-pellet gun. Combines with fellow Technobots to form Computron.

Apres moi, le deluges.

The key element is that Kissinger (emphasis mine):
called for “high level” talks with Iran starting at the secretary of state level and said, “I do not believe that we can make conditions.”

He does NOT believe that the PotUS should be talking with Iran, as Obama does.

P.S. From here (3/15/08):
Democratic presidential contender Sen. Barack Obama has said he would meet with U.S. adversaries such as the leaders of Iran without conditions, positions his primary opponent, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, called "irresponsible and frankly naive."

"Hmmm... I'm sure the media truth squad will be all over this one."

She said, with tongue undoubtedly planted firmly in cheek. McCain called Obama on this one in no uncertain terms; I sincerely doubt whether the "mainstream" media will contradict their anointed one...
