You know the cold and snow is a result of global warming don't you?
Posted by: Frodo at November 21, 2008 12:13 PM
No, no, no! It's *Climate Change*! Read the memo!
"An excess of anthropogenic Cee-Owe-Two causes things to get excessively hot in the summertime when the sun is shining and excessively cold in the wintertime when there are snow clouds blocking the sun. At no time does the sun have anything to do with it and it's never happened before and England did not produce wine in the Middle Ages because the Middle Ages were a myth originated by dead white Europeans and it is no longer a subject for debate! La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!"

It's my tragic flaw.
I was raised by a pack of feral Hoovers...

No - SHE sucks. YOU are stuck in a sandpit. She gets snow.
And I am jealous.

Yeah, but you get blue adult beverages with little frou-frou umbrellas in them, and that makes *her* jealous.

Yeah...I think we're about to get the white stuff here any minute now...
That does not bode well for a mild winter, methinks...

Well, my feeling about this winter (so far I've been right every time, but there's always a first!) is that we will get a lot of snow.
I thought last winter would be very mild and dry, and it was. That was good b/c with the Unit gone I did not want to shovel a lot of snow. This year I can just feel it in my bones. I never look at the weather. I just open the door and feel the air. You can look at the trees and smell it in the air. I don't know how, but I can usually tell what the seasons will be like. I think it is just having lived long enough.
I knew fall and winter would come early this year, somehow. I got all my winter stuff out early and ordered lots of sweaters. I never do that, but I'm glad I did. Usually I am not prepared ahead of time, but I hate the cold.
I am a warm weather baby.

Yanno, I *feel* for the old and infirm during the winter months.

but i wanted to pass this on...
if you have seen it... sorry.
but, i think its nice to hear from people who serve with ours rather than pink frenchmen who do not remember the only army in history that has truly liberated people, then went home (leaving their loved ones behind).
so forgive the hijack... it was the quickest way to get this too you...
it speaks MOUNTAINS against groups like move on and winter soldier II...
