What I'm Listening To

Rivertime, by Steve Dobrogosz and Anna Christoffersson

I am humbled, from time to time, to find out who's stumbled onto VC. Steve is a regular reader and has been kind enough to send me samples of his work from time to time (which I greatly enjoy). His work encompasses both the sacred and the secular. Pretty amazing, no es verdad?

Rivertime, his latest work, is now available on iTunes

I have only been listening for a day or so. I'm already fond of this one:

This is a nice sampling of tunes from the CD:

It is very cool that he's a frequent reader here. A few years ago, my choir performed his Kyrie/Agnus Dei and recorded it. I quite enjoyed singing it.

I have flirted with the idea of having a regular music feature here, but the one thing I do NOT have time to do is spend more time online :p

I wanted to do a weekly podcast of music. I think it could be fun - different themes. I just don't have the spare time.
