Benediction

Today is a special little girl's name day. Since I was busy working all day, all I can offer in celebration are a few things I love and a few lines, poorly written and no doubt not well enough thought out but no less heartfelt for all of that. May they gladden her senses and warm her heart:

Birthday Blessing

May you always find what is beautiful

May you always love what is right

And may your path in life

Run swift and straight to your heart's desire

One of the best things about life is not knowing just what lies around the next corner :)

That, and little girls, and puppies. It's all good.

A coincidence... The 9th was my Birthday and my daughter came home with phone pics of beagle puppies.

While her and Daddy Greyhawk were out getting last minute items for my birthday cake they were making, a gentlemen had 6 puppies for sale outside of the Publics grocery (yeah I know who does that?).

I came this [] close to getting one for my birthday, Greyhawk has a soft spot for puppies and littlest Greyhawk didn't help matters.

Happy Birthday, Mrs. G :)

I love beagles. Our first dog was a beagle. She was a good friend to me when the boys were growing up - they are stout hearted, loving and joyful dogs.

Happy Birthday, Mrs. G! I will tell SWHNOB that she has some fine company on her birthday.

As for her day, she had a day of *very cool* surprises, flowers from Papa and dinner on the wharf over the water where she could watch the sea lions play and the ships pass by -- oh, and open the "best present of the day" -- her very own pocket knife.
heh
Yeah, she's my kid.
