Sauce for the Goose...

Is sauce for the gander:

Rosenberg apparently has a reputation as an “aggressive” reporter, and CDR Gordon has had the no doubt thankless task of running the GTMO beat for the last four years. Some friction is probably inevitable as the PA force attempts to put the detention center in the best possible light, while journalists keep prying for the keys to the top secret abbatoir, wherein detainees are slowly roasted in the depths of a giant Slor. That just has to be around there. Somewhere.

This has to be the first application of largely idiotic sexual harassment laws that we actually find amusing. Be careful what you wish for: equal rights implies equal responsibility - a fact too many folks forget these days regardless of gender.

I thought she mistakenly was under the impression that CDR. Gordon worked for the IRS. Silly me!

Who authorized the purchase of the giant Slor? And the Navy's sail barge to watch them get digested for 1,000 years? Head will roll.

Lex mis-typed. It's actually a giant *Slaw*.

That's the primary reason Mizz Rosenberg was so vituperous -- the wanton cruelty involving innocent shredded cabbage...

Cass, you do have quite a talent for posting the relevant bits of an article while leaving out the distasteful stuff. But in this case, you don't really get the full impact of what this woman did even from Lex's piece. Seriously, what she did was past harassment and borders on slander. Hell, I'd make a case for fighting words. The professionalism of this PAO not simply having her thrown off base astounds me. To sit there and take her crap for MONTHS without slugging her is beyond my capacity. And that's coming from a man who has never laid his hands on a woman in anger. He is a better man than I.

I don't think Cass missed it; I think her point is well taken; that if the feminazis (the title of the piece was great; 'Man bites Dog'...I would have substituted *itch) want all those laws protecting them, they should not be surprised when men use those same laws. Equal opportunity, doncha know.

Far better to use the rule of law. Isn't that what the Left and anti-war crowd kvetch about?
