Where is Cass????

Our abject apologies. The Editorial Staff have been much occupied with the tedious but necessary business of earning a living this week. Consequently, there has been little time for stunning hapless readers senseless with our inane ramblings :)

On the bright side, our federal government has demonstrated an admirable solicitude for your welfare:

Thanks to Kat.

Update: Something to keep you folks busy as the Editorial Staff go out in search of distressful bread. Supply your own slogan.

"...distressful bread."

?

Let me go away somewhere and figure this thing out.

Flim-flam, aka POTUS 44 as seen by his handlers, er... ah... advisory staff...

You can guide his descent via a mouse-grab.

Have fun and pencil in a visit to a Congressional rep's town-hall meeting this August, coming to an area near you. That is, if you rep has the spine to face you.

Distressful bread! That reminds me, it's Falstaff time!

Why interfere, when gravity's doing so well?

On occasion Flim-flam will find that he has hemmed and hawed himself into a nebula of conflicting, hopeychange, declarative spheres. At those times, his handlers have to grab him by the scruff and show him the way while creating a diversion.

Plus when you grab him via your mouse, and shake that thang, you can make him think he's dancin' his way out of a bind. That's when you release him.

It's going to be a long 1187 days... and a wakeup. But who's counting.

Your ramblings aren't inane. ;-)

And I, for one, am not hapless. But I need one with a wide brim for the noonday sun.

What?

Here's a knee-slapper:
What do you do when your professor, who is a Flaming Liberal, insists that you use Carl Sagan to Point Out Flaws in the Universe?

Why, you start with evolution and go from there, of course. I love campus radicalism!

State that Sagan is a Dead White Male, and is therefore irrelevant...

...then watch her head explode.

Posted by: BillT at August 7, 2009 12:08 PM

That video is funny.

Sagan will NEVER die!

I would add that she is a wise...
heh.

No problem -- Boq will provide you with a suitable translation.

You might also mention (for extra credit) that, in the decade since Sagan's assumption into the Cosmos, science has encountered Entirely New Flaws, such as the simultaneous emergence of the Silly String Theory and the promulgation of Political Consensus rather than Genuine Science...
