The Obama Prevarification Predictor

I liked this, from Cynthia Yockey:

My Obama Prevarication Predictor says that whenever a consensus develops opposing anything Obama favors, within 72 hours of the consensus developing he will announce he either no longer wants the thing OR that he is the personification of reason and compromise over the thing — whatever “the thing” du jour is. Currently it is the public option in Obamacare, the impenetrable and mischievous and ever-changing collection of proposals to nationalize the healthcare industry without really helping the people it purports to help.

I just noticed Healthcare Horserace is quoting Politico and announcing that Obama is willing to drop the public option. DON’T YOU BELIEVE IT. Obama uses announcements like this to get his opposition* to believe they’ve won so that they will leave the field of battle and stop paying attention. Then he does whatever he wants, usually within about 72 hours, and usually the opposite of what he said he would do.

This reader finds the above cited to be offensive for the more than obvious reason that any and all points of view disagreeing with those of the President are racially motivated. If you are African-American and disagree, as Orlando Patterson of Harvard insinuates, you are jealous.

I conclude that B.O. fancies himself as a master of the good ole rope-a-dope maneuver. Way too slick for all of us ignorant, bitter-n-clingy, flown-over rubes living west of NYC, south of Cook county, and east of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

Most honest, transparent, clever, best and brightest administration ever. Yeah, right. Stick a fork in that notion. It’s done.

We were recently neighbors in an RV park in Deadwood, CO. Our neighbors were from flyover country - Gillette, WY. We had introduced ourselves earlier so I asked him what he had heard about Obama and the use of coal from Wyoming. He said he and his company were worried. I told him that my experience with the railroad led me to believe that the loons in the Green movement were worrisome but vulnerable.

Given the Greenies aversion to drilling off the east coast, west coast, and Alaska, their aversion to nuclear power they would have to convince us to use campfires to keep warm. Reason and logic will destroy ideologues. They were happy that they were not alone.

Our weakness is not networking enough. They are still employed. EEO policies stifle their speech while on the job. That is problematic but not fatal. Obama's fatal flaw is his over-reliance on his toothy smile to cover and conceal a lack of supporting evidence and playing good cop/bad cop with the likes of Pelosi, Reid, et al.

Like Joe Friday once said, "Just the facts ma'am, just the facts."

If you want to know how to tell when Obama is lying...it's when his lips are moving.

Remember the amusement ride in the dark building where your cart on a track was moved, turned and spun and then a light was flashed on a horror before your eyes....over and over again?

And I didn't even buy a ticket for this ride.
