Health Care Reform
Sausage (my dog) now has a pet portal where I can access his health care records online at my convenience.
Mommy, I'm scared.

Our vet has a similar feature. Pretty spiffy. Especially when you have several animals to sort, manage and try to keep healthy.
If only our personal doctors made use of the technology we'd not have to fill out the same forms, in pen, for every visit.
But on the other hand rests the question of data security and integrity. And it's hard to hack a file cabinet.

"And it's hard to hack a file cabinet."
Ohhhh, I don't know, bt, I'm pretty sure my Stihl could *hack* that sucker up pretty quick.

I think Sausage has to sign a release, doesn't he?A paw print or some such feature?

Or maybe a privacy waiver.
On an unrelated note, I love the disgusted look dogs get on their faces when the vet takes their temperature during an exam.
Mine just lowers his little head and looks at me like, "MOM!!! HOW COULD YOU LET THESE WOMEN VIOLATE ME???"
