Finally, A Solution Everyone Can Agree Upon...
... for the federal deficit, that is. The obvious answer is that Mitt Romney should just pay it off:
In releasing details of his tax burden for the past two years, Mitt Romney offered a small window into a vast wealth. The tax records show that the former Massachusetts governor made $42.6 million over the past two years and because most of it came from capital gains, he paid $6.2 million in taxes.
It would probably be cheaper than running for President. And it would certainly be easier on Stephen Green's liver.

He would be taking a pay cut, that's for sure.

A pay cut? His investments would be put in a blind trust.
But this news and information will be used to alienate him from the Middle Class/working class.
We now live in the Socialist States of America, where the politicians stoke class envy.
And with that said, I am pretty happy to see Cassandra blogging again. I came here every few weeks for the past two years out of habit, and then Gerard Van der Luen linked to you last night, and low and behold, she's at it again.

I think that we should sell Romney's liver to pay off the debt. The guy's never used it but once when he was a teenager.

I am sure that his net worth would cover about 10 seconds of the Federal Government's spending

giggle giggle snort snort.
I just LURVE socialism! We have to provide government welfare in the form of taxes! It is our duty to make the top one percent of earners (Mittster and Warren Buffett, Paris Hilton and the rest of her ilk) pay their fair share! After all, they consume so much that the rest of us are left with NOTHING! Punish them! 40% isn't ENOUGH! Well, Mitt donates about 15% of his income to charity but, I digress.
