Another Day, Another Critical Fundraising Deadline...
Hey - wait just one cotton pickin' minute! I thought Obama's campaign was morally and ethically superior to Mitt Romney's because Obama's money comes from The Little People?
President Obama sounded weary and maybe a tad worried late Friday during a rambling conference call with campaign donors whom he repeatedly begged to send money—and send it now.“The majority on this call maxed out to my campaign last time. I really need you to do the same this time,” the president said in a highly unusual (and presumably legal) fundraising pitch from Air Force One on his way back to Washington from Colorado Springs, where he’d been assessing the terrible damage caused by uncontained wildfires. A special phone on the government aircraft is dedicated to political calls that are paid for by the campaign.
Via Michelle Malkin, who is now back in her home, the administration made sure to get plenty of photos of the President's trip to Colorado:
The White House photo-op gallery of President Obama’s visit is up. Funny, they forgot to include any of the Air Force One money-grubbing scenes.
Remember when everyone was wondering aloud why George Bush didn't care about the victims of Hurricane Katrina? Yeah, me neither.
Update: Remember all those outraged media stories about the Romney bus? I'm guessing you won't hear much about this.

But, but.... Isn't that what the first slide in the show is? He's gazing wistfully out the window of AF1 at all those donors not donating.
Never mind what he's captioned the slide--the Supremes have said that the President's labels aren't meaningful.

Obama doesn't need money. He needs to have past accomplishments and plans for the future. If he had these, the media would do the advertising for him.
Oh. Obama needs money.

"... the President said in a highly unusual (and presumably legal) fundraising pitch from Air Force One on his way back to Washington from Colorado Springs ..."
Why would we presume that this was legal?

"Why would we presume that this was legal?"
Maybe Teh Won is attempting to set a precedent, for his legacy and all that posterity jazz...

Read somewhere that for years there has been a separate line on Air Force One for campaigning, paid for with campaign funds. This actually makes sense.

There's also a separate, campaign-funded phone on his desk in the Oval Office; it sits next to the Red Phone.
This campaign phone also is red-colored, since The Campaign--and the country--are so deeply in the red.
"Hey, Brother Vladimir, can you spare a dime?"

I would expect no less of the high priest group leader.
