It's That Time Again...

The Editorial Staff wait for this every year. Our favorite, so far:

She slinked through my door wearing a dress that looked like it had been painted on … not with good paint, like Behr or Sherwin-Williams, but with that watered-down stuff that bubbles up right away if you don’t prime the surface before you slap it on, and – just like that cheap paint – the dress needed two more coats to cover her. — Sue Fondrie, Appleton, WI

Where, oh where is Brett Barboursville you need him?

When I paint on a dress, I always sand down the surface first, to prevent peeling after a year or two -- especially if I'm going to be out in sunlight a lot.

I vastly preferred the Grand Panjandrum’s Special Award.

Must be a guy thing.

When these guys paint on a clothing it's amazing.

The Western Runner-Up is my favorite. It's just so... inexplicable.

Well, after I prepare the surface, I have to spackle to fill in the dimples. I like a sleek porpoise look, yanno.
