With the Obama regime, it is the appearance and not the substance of everything that he does.

I would not like to be in one of the last units out of Afghanistan. The new ROE about to be announced is NO AIR STRIKES! The troops are to be confined to their FOB's and Karzai is getting ready to change sides. Hope and Change!!

One has to note with grave sadness the "ISAF Observations" on the second slide. Some staff officer was trying hard to figure out how to help his boss make this look like a win when he was briefing it higher. Even now, the temptation is not to be the one who gives the boss the bad, hard truth.
