Unexpectedly! Women Don't Actually Vote With Their Ladyparts

Who knew? Oh yeah, the guy who supposedly doesn't understand women at all:

Mitt Romney leads President Obama by four percentage points among likely voters in the nation's top battlegrounds, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, and he has growing enthusiasm among women to thank.

As the presidential campaign heads into its final weeks, the survey of voters in 12 crucial swing states finds female voters much more engaged in the election and increasingly concerned about the deficit and debt issues that favor Romney. The Republican nominee now ties the president among women who are likely voters, 48%-48%, while he leads by 12 points among men.

Too funny. We don't know who's going to be more upset about this - the Obama Campaign or the jackwagons on both sides who think the only thing uniting uterus-having folk is a perverse desire to replace our husbands and our children's fathers with a cradle-to-grave Nanny State.

*Whatever*

Actually, the data suggest a strong bifurcation among women:

When women were asked to identify the most important issue for women, though, the answers were strikingly different. The top concern by far was abortion, an issue that didn't even register among men. Nearly four in 10 women cited it, and those who did supported Obama by more than 3-1.

So... some women do vote in the way the Obama campaign prefers, and some are better than that. And this I think we knew already, although it usually comes cloaked in the form of "married" versus "unmarried" women. The state, it turns out, is a poor substitute.

Heheh. Darned females...

A little ditty to help the current Admin keep step on the way out of the White House in January:

Ain't no sense in goin' on,
Mitt's done got your girl and gone.
Whine off
It's not Ø fault
whine off
He just got caught.

Between then and now, a little mood music for sneaking off with the ladies.

Oh, man. If Romney wins, we'll have to endure four years of books analyzing why women are too dumb to vote for their own best interests, just like people from Kansas.

"Women Don't Actually Vote With Their Ladyparts"

Guess that explains all those *hanging chads* in Florida....

Cass, you truly amaze me. Whoda thunk that all vagina bearing hupersons would not be strongly united behind the only candidate who be understanding the slavery of the sisterhood that only one of a repressed, downtrodden minority (well, at least half of hisself at least) could understand.

Sistahs arise and vote for what is most important! Yes, your lady parts are important, but it's more imortant to have a measure of economic security to ensure that you can procure shelter and food, and to maintain a level of dignity by EARNING it - not accepting a handout from persons of the fifth appendage.

As a tune I fondly recall states:

What gives you the right - hey you -
To stand there and tell me what to do
Tell me who gave you the power
To stop me from livin' like I do

Remember if you plan to stay
Those who give can take away.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you

Just one time I'd like to be somewhere where
None of your clever lies fill the air
I'm tired of your frozen smile and voice of tin
Just might all gang up on you
Turn the knob and do you in

Remember if you plan to stay
Those who give can take away.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you

This never ending power play
'Tween Jealousy, greed and vicious hate
Is grinding us like giant millstones
But it can't be our only fate
It's time we got our heads together
And let 'em know that we're awake

Those in the dark, you know they're no longer blind
They're breakin' from your strangle hold on their minds
Those who can see don't need no one to cross the street
Be careful who you're pushin' round
They just might find you obsolete

Remember if you plan to stay
Those who give can take away.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you

That's not so bad. For one thing, we get Romney instead of Obama. For another, even in this modern world, we always can use door stops and boat anchors. And the individual pages make good fire starters and adequate emergency caches of TP.

Not to mention that print paper is the best for streak-free window cleaning.
