Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday!
The mountains are draped, fields in the valley glisten, and the rivers and lakes lay hidden beneath layers of ice and snow. Winter has come to the mountains of western Montana bringing with it the season of love and hope when family and friends come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. It's not, however, a day of redistributing riches, as some secular souls would have you believe.
No, today is a day to stop.
On the reason for the season.
To celebrate His birth.
And make a joyful noise.
Merry Christmas, villans. May you have a blessed day.

Merry Christmas, you all, and thanks for all you do during the year.
Especially, you VC!
"6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with Judgment and with Justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will perform this."

Merry belated Christmas, guys.
Sorry I've been AWOL. Ongoing medical stuff. We've been on the road the past couple of days - tonight we're going to cook up the roast beast and maybe make some egg nog.

This Christmas was... well, more grace and joy than I ever expected.
For the first time in maybe three years or more, since my Mother's funeral, my whole family was together in one room.
That meant a lot, considering what a couple of them have been through. And two of my nieces are pregnant and due in 2014.
Merry Christmas, and God bless you, every one.
