Memorial Day

Sorry I've been AWOL this week - lots of stuff going on at work and all the doctor/physical therapy appointments have made it difficult to find 3 seconds to rub together.

Good news is that the Blog Princess is finally free of the dread Foam Maiden. A brief but tasteful funeral service (complete with pyre) will be held for it over the weekend.

She would pretend to feel sad at its passing, but she'd be lying like a big dog.

Will try to get up a post to commemorate Memorial Day. Hope your weekends are filled with family, friends, and all the good things life has to offer.

You realize that it coulda been worse. But knowing you, you'd add it to the disco ball and trapeze and the poor Spousal Unit wouldn't know what to do.

Great news. Keep on getting better, we want you fully flouncing and bouncing by the end of summer!

You have 3 seconds to rub together? I swear that is a time inequality, I only have 2. If I don't dawdle.

I do declare there is a designation for everything. Monoplegic. I would use other terms: a pronounced list to starboard (or port); my leg is a bit gimpy; oh crap that hurts.

Or, as my wife asks. "are you sure you can drive with your bum leg?" Which my response is, "the only thing to be afraid of is fear."

Blame it on FDR.
